Position:MRI Technologist
Location:Norwood Office
Schedule:Mon 9:30am - 6pm, Wed & Fri 7:30am - 5pm, Saturday 8am - 3:30pm

- Perform MRI examinations of all types, as directed by physicians.
- Obtain complete patient/implant history to ensure all safety requirements are met.
- Obtain lab work information to ensure appropriate creatinine levels for contrast studies and administer contrast agents with documentation in the EMR with anticipation of the potential for adverse reactions.
- Apply independent judgment to produce studies of excellent quality, confirming quality with radiologist, and reporting any routine protocol changes to administrator and co-workers.
- Assist with the scheduling of patients to ensure timeliness of exam and compliance with contrast policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree of Science in Radiological Technology required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) & AED training required.
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice management system is required.
- Ability to calmly handle multiple tasks at once.
- Great interpersonal skills with sound judgment, maturity, and an ability to establish good rapport with patients, physicians, vendors, and staff.
- Ability to deal with patients, physicians and staff with tact and diplomacy.
