Position:
Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor or Staff Psychologist in Integrated Behavioral Health – Pediatric Primary Care (PPC) Clinic
The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center seeks a psychologist to join the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) team in pediatric primary care to support expansion of clinical services. The PPC Clinic is a multidisciplinary setting including psychologists, pediatricians, care managers, social workers, pediatric and psychologist trainees, and legal aid. Responsibilities include diagnostic clarity, short-term therapy for common behavioral and mental health concerns, and crisis stabilization across the pediatric lifespan, with a focus on serving patient populations experiencing poverty, trauma, and health-related social needs.
Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic clarity and short-term therapy for common behavioral and mental health concerns in a pediatric primary care setting.
- Provide crisis stabilization as needed.
- Contribute to training and education of pediatric residents.
- Engage in program development and quality improvement activities.
- Explore academic and publication opportunities as interests align.
- Doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology (APA-accredited).
- Licensed or license-eligible in Ohio.
- Postdoctoral training focused on evidence-based trauma care treatment or integrated primary care.
