Certified Peer Recovery Supporter – Part Time

What you’ll do at DBHDesigns

• Facilitates recovery‑based services and supports to assist individuals in achieving personal recovery goals.
• Offers assistance with daily living, emotional and social support, and connections to clinical care and community resources.
• Utilizes personal recovery experience, when appropriate, to encourage and inspire hope.
• Leads and coordinates recovery‑related groups, teaching coping skills, relaxation techniques, and wellness strategies.
• Mentors clients/residents through the recovery process by promoting empowerment, goal‑setting, and self‑advocacy.
• Educates clients/residents on available peer services, rights processes, advance directives, and supplemental support programs.
• Assists with completing forms and applications for resources such as residential state supplement programs.

This is an hourly position and is in the OCSEA, with a pay range of $27. Working hours are Monday‑Friday from 8 am‑5 pm and on the weekends as needed.

Position is located within our Summit Behavioral Healthcare Location at 1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after 120 days of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
