DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician who is looking to give life in a hospital setting. • Direct patient care: spend the majority of your day in one‑on‑one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
• Care for multiple patients during each shift.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vitals, observing patients, and setting up the hemodialysis machine. Exposure to blood and needles is expected.
• Build long‑term relationships with patients suffering from end‑stage renal disease, who receive treatment on average three times per week. Educate patients on kidney dialysis topics. Work within a cross‑functional team of clinicians, including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, under the supervision of an RN.

• Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable working around blood and needles.
• Comfortable mixing acid or bicarbonate solutions.
• Physical and mental ability to work long shifts (some 12+ hour days) on your feet; wear comfortable shoes.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple facilities within the territory as needed.
• Health care experience is a plus, including BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
• Successful completion of the pre‑employment color‑blind test; accommodations may be provided if needed.
