Overview
Join to apply for the Data Manager role at Network For Hope (NFH). The Data Manager provides day-to-day leadership and management of the department staff and ensures efforts align with NFH's mission and core values. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify improvement opportunities, developing and implementing process enhancements, and ensuring continuous and accurate data to optimize organ, tissue, and eye donation and transplantation outcomes.
Dutiesand Responsibilities Operational Oversight and Execution
- Provides daily operational oversight of the Data team, including planning and executing short and long-term goals in collaboration with the Performance Excellence Director.
- Directs goals, training, competencies and evaluation of department positions responsible for data activities.
- Responsible for ensuring ongoing competence of staff through development and implementation of a comprehensive orientation program, ongoing education and training, and focused learning and training activities.
- Lead, coordinate, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, focusing on enhancing quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Acts as a resource and subject matter expert on data architecture and analysis.
- Attends relevant local, regional, and national meetings as required to represent NFH and identify best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads and staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities by analyzing data, reviewing processes, and consulting with stakeholders.
- Communicate data efforts and outcomes to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and external stakeholders under the direction of the Performance Excellence Director.
- Provides coaching to leaders and staff members through metrics development and recommendation for improvement focus.
- Oversees the development and maintenance of data and reports, dashboards, charts, and graphs to optimize operational processes.
- Analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and identify opportunities for improvement initiatives.
- Oversees the accuracy and availability of NFH's electronic donor system, coordinating change requests and ensuring functionality of updates.
- Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of improvement plans and initiatives, conducting audits to ensure successful implementation and management of change.
- Continuously monitors performance metrics and outcomes for improvement plans, proactively identifying trends and improvement areas.
- Researches and stays current with emerging improvement, implementation, and change management methodologies and trends.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field required.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of data analytics or data engineering, experience with SQL, Python, and Power BI required. Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience required. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Certification in data analytics, SQL, Python, or AI helpful but not required.
