Phlebotomist III Float – Cincinnati, OH

Monday to Friday, hours vary between 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

Pay Range

$21.24+ per hour. Salary offers based on skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. Eligible for annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Assigned to a territory covering phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or other sites as needed.
  • Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
  • Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams).
  • Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
  • Coach, mentor, instruct new employees; serve as point of contact for staff and provide input to supervisors.
  • Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training preferred: medical assistant or paramedic training.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
  • Five years phlebotomy experience required (pediatric, geriatric, capillary). Minimum 3 years in Patient Service Center preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Effective communication in English.
