Physical Therapist

Overview

Physical Therapist – AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) that is available for the 2025/2026 School Year.

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Ohio State Physical Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset. Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – Part Time (4 hours per month). Contract follows the academic district calendar.

• Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
• Provide competent care rendered to patients.
• Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
• Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
• Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

$2,000 - $2,200 per month
