Manager, PVMC
Join to apply for the Manager, PVMC role at Cincinnati Children’s. This position leads an interdisciplinary team delivering contracted services to internal and external clients specialized in toxicology, employee health, product safety, medical communication, and/or pharmacovigilance.
Job Responsibilities- Analytics – Analyze overall and client‑specific data, ensure accurate and timely metrics and KPIs to clients and stakeholders. Identify issues, trends, and solutions, and provide operational oversight of the quality monitoring program.
- Delivery – Ensure high‑quality PVMC support to assigned clients and programs. Design, implement, and oversee program operations, quality, compliance, training, and metrics. Lead cross‑functional teams and develop best practices.
- Operational Management – Lead initiatives and projects, plan and evaluate services, manage orientation, training, and continuing education, and support staffing and retention strategies. Oversee performance management and HR policies.
- Compliance – Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, assess compliance, propose improvements, and develop corrective action plans. Ensure laws and regulations changes are implemented timely.
- Professional Inquiry – Integrate research, evidence‑based practice, and quality improvement findings into service delivery. Promote professional development and maintain subject‑matter expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or pharmacy.
- Preferred:
Master’s degree or Doctorate. - 5+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance OR Medical Communication or related disciplines.
- Preferred:
Management experience. - Registered Pharmacist or Registered Nurse.
