Physical Therapist Assistant

Overview

Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position located at a family-owned facility in the Delhi area of Cincinnati. Caring Place Healthcare Group is focused on compassionate, high-quality care and partnered with Concept Rehab to provide contract rehabilitation services for senior post-acute care providers.

As a PTA, you will be part of a team providing meaningful care and contributing to a mission with heart.

• Treat patients according to the treatment plan of care developed by and under the supervision of the Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate with the Physical Therapist, the patient and/or family, and facility staff about patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participate in Patient Plan of Care Meetings and Interdisciplinary Team Meetings as requested by the Physical Therapist.
• Participate in in-service training for facility staff focused on restorative and functional maintenance programs.
• Record treatment notes, progress notes, provide objective input for discharge summaries, and complete daily billing of services per policy and procedure.
• Instruct patients’ families and/or nursing staff in maintenance programs under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Meet or exceed the minimum productivity standard established by CRI.
• Recommend equipment needs to the Physical Therapist to improve delivery of clinical services.
• Report any problems with department equipment to appropriate personnel.
• Act as clinical trainer for affiliating Physical Therapist Assistant programs for area universities and colleges.
• Comply with Physical Therapist Assistant licensure and certification standards.
• Occasionally work beyond usual hours for facility emergencies, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Represent the organization’s mission, vision, core values, and professional image in performance of duties.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Licensed in the state(s) where services are being provided as a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant.
