Plant Controller | Strategic Finance Leader Focused Manufacturing

Parcc Associates is representing a great manufacturing company seeking a strategic, hands‑on Plant Controller to lead financial operations at a key production facility.

This is a high‑visibility leadership role partnering directly with Plant Leadership and Corporate Finance to drive profitability, operational performance, and continuous improvement.

The Plant Controller will serve as the financial leader for the facility, overseeing cost accounting, reporting, forecasting, and operational analysis. This individual will translate financial data into actionable insights that improve plant performance and margins.

• Lead plant‑level financial reporting and month‑end close
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory controls, and standard costing
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Partner with the Plant Manager on KPIs and operational metrics
• Identify cost savings and margin improvement opportunities
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls
• Support capital expenditure analysis and ROI modeling
• Develop and mentor accounting staff as applicable

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Strong cost accounting and inventory experience
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar)
• Proven ability to partner with operations leadership
