The FP&A Analyst supports company and COE-level planning and reporting by preparing forecasts, budgets, performance reports, and ad hoc models. The Analyst converts business assumptions into structured outputs that inform decisions and communicates insights to department leaders and the FP&A team. This role provides foundational support for both recurring planning cycles and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Support the annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, coordinating with stakeholders and compiling accurate, timely financial and nonfinancial inputs.
  • Financial and Non-Financial Reporting: Prepares monthly reporting of budgets, forecasts, and actuals for financial and non-financial information.
  • Data Quality: Delivers financial and non-financial information to counter parties with accuracy and timeliness. Also requires a strong understanding of Lithko’s financial systems.
  • Analysis: Performs ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, and data visualization. Ability to convert variance analysis into impactful insights.
  • Cross Functional Partnership and Communication: Ability to partner with cross functional leadership and communicate actionable insights and recommendations based on financial and non-financial analysis.
Tasks & Duties Forecasting & Budgeting
  • Participate in monthly and annual planning cycles, including preparation of templates and variance analysis.
  • Transform variance analysis into actionable/meaningful insights to help drive improvement across the organization.
  • Document assumptions, logic, and sources for all submitted forecasts.
  • Maintain Excel based models to support recurring and ad hoc needs.
  • Audit models for accuracy, logic, and version control prior to submission.
Reporting
  • Update recurring reports for finance and business partners.
  • Review reports for consistency and highlight trends and variances.
  • Communicate key findings to FP&A leadership and business users.
Data Management & Quality
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across systems, models, and reports.
Metrics Metric Development & Architecture
  • Design and implement comprehensive financial and operational metrics that align with departmental and company-wide goals.
Metric Stewardship
  • Manage and maintain corporate and departmental KPIs on an ongoing basis, ensuring definitions/rationale remain consistent.
Metric Communication
  • Work with cross functional leadership to ensure the KPIs being tracked/captured are relevant and useful to drive enhancement or improvement within the respective function/COE.
  • Financial budgeting and forecasting ownership
  • Analysis
  • Performance measurements and KPIs – implementation and management (financial AND non-financial, cascaded through the entire organization)
  • New unique financial structure and process initiatives

Experiences and Skills
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Preferred Degree(s):
    Finance, Accounting, Economics
  • Business and financial acumen to help identify and influence organizational improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing and monitoring KPIs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process alignment and standardization.
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a less structured and ambiguous environment.
  • Strong computer skills – highly adept in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
