Key Responsibilities Underwrite FHA and VA loans and potentially other loan types such as Bond and USDA Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan statuses Assist in training other mortgage positions and maintain a conversation log for tracking files
Required Qualifications and Experience Minimum of five (5) years of specific government underwriting experience Must possess valid CHUMS and/or LAPP/Sar to underwrite FHA and VA loans Recent experience underwriting USDA and Bond loans is highly preferred Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment with strong leadership skills
