Cinfed is searching for a Collector I based in Cincinnati, OH at our Oakley Headquarters

- A starting rate of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour dependent on experience

- Performing collection activities associated with delinquent member accounts, including consumer loans, credit cards, mortgages, and home equity lines of credit
- Performing collections efforts in accordance with credit union policies and procedures and ensures they are legally compliant.
- Contacting members to resolve problems with accounts in accordance with established procedures.
- Determining reasons for delinquencies and works toward permanent solutions.
- Keeping accurate records of arrangements, promise to pay dates and cause of delinquency problem.
- High school education or GED
- Six months of similar or related experience is required
- Prior experience in Consumer and Mortgage collections is preferred
- Must have a thorough understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Act and state and federal laws concerning collection activities
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8‑6, and Saturdays 9‑1 (rotating).
