Cinfed is searching for a Collector I based in Cincinnati, OH at our Oakley Headquarters

• A starting rate of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour dependent on experience

• Performing collection activities associated with delinquent member accounts, including consumer loans, credit cards, mortgages, and home equity lines of credit
• Performing collections efforts in accordance with credit union policies and procedures and ensures they are legally compliant.
• Contacting members to resolve problems with accounts in accordance with established procedures.
• Determining reasons for delinquencies and works toward permanent solutions.
• Keeping accurate records of arrangements, promise to pay dates and cause of delinquency problem.

• High school education or GED
• Six months of similar or related experience is required
• Prior experience in Consumer and Mortgage collections is preferred
• Must have a thorough understanding of the Fair Debt Collection Act and state and federal laws concerning collection activities

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8‑6, and Saturdays 9‑1 (rotating).
