We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
** Controller
* * to join our Finance team. The
** Controller
* * will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth objectives. This role requires a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.

* Key Responsibilities:

** Financial Accounting and Reporting:
* Oversee daily, weekly, monthly and annual financial reporting activities.
* Lead the month-end close and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger.
* Coordinate the reconciliation and maintenance of general ledger accounts; prepare or review monthly account reconciliations with appropriate documentation.
* Partner with the Director of Financial Reporting to ensure timely and accurate consolidated financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
* Develop proficiency in financial systems and drive process and system improvements.
* Collaborate with IT to optimize the use of JD Edwards and related applications.
* Lead the implementation of a new financial reporting and consolidation tool, integrated with JDE.Internal Controls and Compliance:
* Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Oversee the annual audit process and serve as the liaison with external auditors.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
* Support FP&A in the annual budgeting process, including financial forecasting and variance analysis.
* Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior leadership.
* Collaborate with FP&A to monitor and report on key financial metrics, risks, and variances.

Cash Management:
* Work closely with Treasury to manage cash flow, including monitoring balances, collections, forecasting needs, and optimizing working capital.
* Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and billing.

Team Leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse accounting team, fostering a positive culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
* Ensure the team is equipped with the tools, training, and support to achieve company goals.
* Coordinate with the company’s international shared service centers.

Strategic Planning:
* Build strong partnerships with leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term business objectives.
* Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and capital investment decisions.
* Evaluate market trends, financial performance, and operational data to deliver meaningful insights.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.
* 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
* Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
* Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
* Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
* Exceptional critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders.
