Finance Manager

The organization is seeking a temporary project-based individual to assist in the reconciliation and cleanup of its financial books. The organization is currently using Sage Intact but is transitioning to Quick Books and requires assistance before the Sage contract expires and the data becomes read-only. This role is essential for ensuring that the financial data is accurate and ready for migration to the new system.

• Reconcile approximately four months of financial records using Sage Intact.
• Collaborate with the foundation director to ensure correct release schedules for restricted funds.
• Work towards making financial records organized and manageable by the end of the Sage Intact contract.
• Potentially generate Accounts Receivable reports using Salesforce.
• Utilize  for Accounts Payable tasks.
• Provide financial cleanup and reconciliation within the stipulated deadline.

• Proficient in Sage Intact, with a strong aptitude for financial reconciliation.
• Experience with in non-profit organizations.
• Salesforce experience preferred, specifically for handling Accounts Receivable.
• Working knowledge of GAP accounting standards.
• At least five years of experience in finance, preferably in a finance manager or controller role.
• Flexibility to work in a project-based capacity, with approximately 30 to 40 hours per month.
• Ability to manage and tidy up incomplete or disorganized financial records.
• Comfortable working remotely, as the organization is fully remote.
