VRC specializes in valuation and financial opinions for M&A transactions, financial and tax reporting, and other complex valuation needs.
This position conducts valuations for closely‑held businesses, stock compensation (ASC 718/409A), purchase price allocations (ASC 805), impairment testing (ASC 350/360), and international tax restructuring. The role also involves client interaction, market research, and project management.
What you will do- Perform rigorous valuations of companies, securities, and intangibles across a range of industries using proprietary quantitative models.
- Research clients, competitors, industries, and capital markets to determine market multiples, financial ratios, and discount rates.
- Manage valuation engagements from planning through client‑ready deliverables.
- Supervise junior staff on technical judgment and project execution.
- Build and maintain ongoing client relationships.
- Collaborate with business development to scope work and prepare engagement letters.
- Participate in team improvement efforts, including recruiting, training, and data/model refinement.
- 5–7 years of valuation experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- CFA and/or ASA designations earned or in progress are a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Superior analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Strong prioritization and time‑management skills for time‑sensitive engagements.

- Current authorization to work in the United States.
