REST is seeking candidates for the position of Corporate Accountant/Finance Mgr. Ideal candidates will display a knowledge/education in finance and/or accounting and will possess an entrepreneurial spirit. Candidates will be encouraged to pursue a CPA certificate if interested as company growth expands to other markets outside of Cincinnati. This key position could also deliver equity options for the select individual.
Responsibilities- Performs account analysis and variance analysis, including budget/forecasting
- Monthly and year end closing duties
- Researching and fixing accounting issues
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Sales/Use Tax, Property Tax
- Maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciliations
- Analyze departmental budgets
- Processing and reconciling the cash accounts
- Payroll input and review to outside payroll vendor
- Other corporate accounting duties or supervision of duties as assigned
- Current and/or recent grads with accounting/finance degree
- Highly ambitious and career driven; hotel/hospitality experience a plus
- Strong communication skills are essential being able to be a good team player
- Desire to advance your career in corporate accounting/tax at a multinational level
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books & Microsoft applications and spreadsheet applications
