• High School Diploma, required
• Minimum two years’ experience in conventional mortgage loan underwriting (Fannie Freddie, Portfolio), required
• Knowledge of credit and mortgage loan underwriting practices
• Ability to analyze data to determine creditworthiness of borrower
• Working knowledge of secondary market guidelines and manual/automated underwriting
• Familiarity with TRID regulations, preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft Office application and Calyx processing system, preferred
• Ability to make underwriting decisions with minimal supervision and in a timely manner, preferred
• Highly organized and proven ability to work in fast paced environment, required
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards, required
• Ability to maintain quality control standards, required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required
