Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer in Cincinnati, OH area! The candidate will be responsible to oversee and grow the structural engineering group as well as lead projects.
Responsibilities- Direct and oversee the Structural Engineering department, providing leadership to engineers, designers, and drafters.
- Manage structural engineering deliverables for industrial and commercial projects, including steel and concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and equipment supports.
- Offer technical expertise, ensure quality control, and mentor team members to support their professional development.
- Partner with project managers and cross‑discipline leads to achieve schedule and budget objectives.
- Create staffing strategies, allocate resources effectively, and guide the team’s long‑term growth.
- Uphold and refine departmental standards, processes, and best practices.
- Cultivate strong client relationships through technical leadership and clear, consistent communication.
- Contribute to business development activities, including preparing proposals and supporting project cost estimates.
- Bachelor's degree required, PE degree preferred
- Experience in structural engineering leadership/management role
- Strong knowledge of design codes
- Experience with industrial projects
- Proficient in structural analysis and design software
