Overview
An employer is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This individual will be working on 2nd shift (2pm -- 10pm). This candidate will support their plant operations team and campus facilities including the R&D building, Admin, Plant, Wastewater and Energy facilities. The role involves working on PM orders, responding to losses of power, performing safety checks called in from facilities, and working on various machines (HVAC, pumps, valves, circuit boards, chillers, boilers, steam traps, cooling tanks) and assisting on general projects across campus.
The individual will work closely with the plant operations team to support facility improvements as well as conducting preventative maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate would have experience with HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting PLCs, and exposure to Allen Bradley. This individual must be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and have a background in the electro-mechanical field.

Responsibilities- Support plant operations team and campus facilities including R&D building, Admin, Plant, Wastewater and Energy facilities.
- Work on PM orders, respond to losses of power, and perform safety checks; address issues called in from facilities.
- Operate and service various machines (HVAC, pumps, valves, circuit boards, chillers, boilers, steam traps, cooling tanks).
- Assist on general projects across campus and contribute to facility improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the plant operations team to conduct preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Leverage experience in HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems and PLC troubleshooting, with exposure to Allen Bradley as applicable.
- 3+ years' experience as a Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Capability to work on both facilities, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Preventative maintenance and repairs experience (HVAC, boilers, chillers, conveyors, circuit boards, etc.).
- Hands-on with machinery;
Associates or Trade School or Certification. - Troubleshooting PLCs (Ladder Logic - Allen Bradley).
