Job Description

We are seeking a motivated CAD Designer to join our engineering and manufacturing teams. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who has hands-on experience with Solid Works and a basic understanding of mechanical drawings. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about working with 3D models and manufacturing-related designs.

Responsibilities

* Review and interpret 2D drawings with guidance from engineering staff.

* Create and update 3D models of parts and simple assemblies using Solid Works.

* Assist in preparing and revisiting detailed drawings.

* Help design basic check fixtures for inspection and quality purposes.

* Work closely with engineers and manufacturing personnel to support design updates.

* Maintain organized CAD files and documentation.

Essential Skills

* Experience with AutoCAD and Solid Works.

* 1+ years of experience creating fabrication and assembly drawings within a fabrication environment.

* Ability to read and understand basic 2D AutoCAD engineering drawings.

* Experience with sheet metal design.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Work Environment

This role is based in the office, working five days a week on the first shift with flexible start and end times. After completing training, there may be an opportunity to transition into a hybrid role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
