Job Title:
Project Engineer 3 - Civil Project Engineer - Design
Location:
Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $115,000 - $130,000/yr.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is a minimum requirement.
- A significant experience of 5-15 years in the field of civil engineering is essential.
- A valid PE (Professional Engineer) License is mandatory.
- Proficiency in computer-based design tools, such as AutoCAD, GIS, and REVIT, is required.
- Familiarity with the industry's prevailing design standards is necessary.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Strong problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
- Effective time management skills are crucial to handle project timelines efficiently.
- A self-motivated individual with a strong desire for professional growth will be preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a registered insured vehicle is necessary.
- Lead and coordinate the work of drafting personnel, technicians, or other engineers while also providing guidance to junior staff members.
- Manage project tasks, ensuring they are completed within the allocated schedule and budget.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other departments for smooth project execution.
- Collect data for cost estimating and review preliminary equipment costs.
- Research and implement innovative methods and procedures to improve project efficiency.
- Cultivate client relationships to secure repeat business opportunities and begin developing business development skills.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and concise conclusions to convey project results effectively.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of engineering design standards and practices to meet client requirements and uphold company standards.
- Generate design calculations, drawings, and specifications or conduct feasibility studies as needed.
- Maintain detailed project records and documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
