Job Description
Pay Range: $60hr - $66hr
- The Electrical Engineering Contractor will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting ruggedized electronic systems.
- This role involves close collaboration with customers and cross‑functional teams to ensure requirements are met, designs are robust, and testing and documentation are completed to high engineering standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in analog and digital circuit design, power circuit design, and sensor integration.
- Proficiency with analog components such as differential amplifiers, operational amplifiers, and filters.
- Experience with digital components including logic gates and timers.
- Experience in power supply and power conversion design.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience developing and refining engineering requirements.
- Experience interfacing with customers and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience performing simulations and circuit tolerance analyses.
- Experience preparing and executing test plans and generating test reports.
- Experience assisting with structured failure investigations and root cause analysis.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop and refine electrical engineering requirements.
- Interface with customers and cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Design ruggedized electronic systems ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Perform simulations and circuit tolerance analyses.
- Prepare, execute, and document test plans and test reports.
- Assist in failure investigations using structured methodologies.
- Prepare materials for design reviews and participate in review processes.
- Generate engineering change orders as required.
- Manage and prioritize multiple engineering projects concurrently.
- Experience with electronic safety and arming devices.
- Experience presenting technical material to review boards.
- Knowledge of extreme environmental design and testing.
- Circuit analysis, design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Use of simulation tools and electronic design software.
- Use of standard laboratory equipment for testing and validation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred.
