Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Director – Account Management to lead and expand a large, strategic client account within the Aviation/Aerospace domain. The ideal candidate must bring deep industry understanding, strong customer relationship management skills, and a proven track record of growing business within engineering‑ or technology‑led environments. This role owns account strategy, delivery governance, revenue growth, and senior stakeholder engagement for a marquee aerospace client.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end ownership of a major aerospace enterprise account, ensuring strong customer satisfaction and continued partnership success.
- Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities across digital engineering, product engineering, IT services, and transformation initiatives relevant to the aviation sector.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders across engineering, digital, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and technology functions.
- Build trusted CXO‑ and senior leadership‑level relationships; act as a strategic advisor on aviation‑focused engineering and digital programs.
- Develop and execute long‑term account strategies, including annual planning, portfolio reviews, and opportunity roadmaps.
- Manage P&L for the account—revenue, margins, forecasting, contract governance, and renewals.
- Partner with global delivery teams to ensure execution excellence, address escalations, establish governance models, and ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
- Shape and drive proposals, solution pitches, and value propositions aligned to aerospace engineering, MRO, simulation, certification, avionics, PLM, and related domains.
- Track industry trends and competitive dynamics in the aviation/aerospace space to identify growth levers.
- 14+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Services, or Business Development within an IT services or product engineering organization.
- Mandatory experience managing clients or programs within the Aviation/Aerospace domain (engineering, digital, manufacturing, MRO, avionics, or related areas).
- Demonstrated success in scaling strategic accounts and driving multi‑million dollar growth within aerospace customers.
- Strong understanding of aviation industry engineering workflows—design, simulation, testing, certification, manufacturing, supply chain, digital engineering, or aftermarket solutions.
- Proven ability to manage senior relationships within large global aerospace enterprises.
- Solid commercial skills: P&L ownership, contracting, SOW/RFP management, pricing, and negotiation.
- Experience working with distributed delivery models, global teams, and complex stakeholder ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience operating as an Account Manager or Engagement Leader for an aerospace OEM, Tier‑1 supplier, or aviation technology organization.
- MBA or advanced degree is an advantage.
