We’re partnering with a well‑established industrial automation organization in the Greater Cincinnati area that supports manufacturing and production environments across multiple industries, including automotive suppliers, food & packaging, and general industrial customers. This is an engineering‑driven team with a dedicated controls group and a steady, long‑term project pipeline.

The team supports a mix of OEM and in‑house automation projects, with controls engineers involved early in system design, standards development, and project execution.

This role is suited for a senior‑level controls engineer who enjoys hands‑on PLC/HMI work, practical system design, and supporting projects from development through startup — without heavy or constant travel.

• Lead PLC and HMI development for industrial automation systems
• Program and support Rockwell / Allen‑Bradley PLCs and HMIs
• Contribute to electrical schematics and control panel designs
• Support motion control, VFDs, and machine safety systems
• Participate in commissioning, debugging, and acceptance testing as needed
• Work closely with mechanical, manufacturing, and project teams

• 7+ years of controls or automation engineering experience
• Strong background in industrial automation and manufacturing systems
• Familiarity with electrical design concepts and industrial standards
• Engineering degree preferred (EE, EET, or related)
• Estimated travel: ~10–15%, primarily for project startup support
• Full‑time, on‑site role in the Greater Cincinnati area
