In This Dynamic Role, You Will- Drive technical excellence across projects, ensuring quality and innovation.
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Define processes and schedules to optimize project execution.
- Shape strategic initiatives, contributing to the long‑term vision and success of the organization.
- Support obsolescence management initiatives to ensure hardware remains current, reliable, and aligned with customer needs.
- Provide technical support for fielded systems and NPI applications, including certification and entry‑into‑service activities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑disciplinary teams—electrical, fluid, and controls engineers—to drive project success.
- Oversee hardware development throughout the design lifecycle, from initial concept through ground and flight testing, focusing on technology and manufacturing readiness.
- Define and guide supplier design efforts, ensuring transparency and alignment with project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, both internally and with suppliers, to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support engineering team members to maintain adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Work within cross‑functional teams—design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership—to ensure components and systems meet application requirements.
- Communicate technical and manufacturing readiness plans and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of engineering experience).
