We’re looking for a Should Cost Analyst to support cost modeling and supplier analysis across 300‑400 identified part numbers. You’ll play a key role in evaluating supplier inputs, understanding manufacturing cost drivers, and providing insights that support sourcing, engineering, and finance teams.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain Should Cost models for key components and assemblies
- Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing methods to identify cost drivers
- Interpret technical drawings and part prints to support accurate cost assumptions
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, and Finance to validate and refine models
- Present data‑driven insights during supplier and internal discussions
- Maintain clear documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and progress
- BS degree in engineering or similar relevant field desired
- 5 or more years of experience with part cost estimation and should cost modeling
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and layouts
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
- Background in manufacturing process engineering and quality engineering
- Familiarity with GE Aviation systems, parts, or processes
- Active or eligible for U.S. Security Clearance
