• Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a regulated industry (preferably medical devices).
• Demonstrated experience in test development, execution, and analysis

• Clear evidence of problem-solving and innovation in test engineering.
• Strong understanding of medical device standards and regulatory frameworks
  .
• Experience leading small projects and mentoring junior team members.
• Proficiency in mechanical testing, fixture design, and statistical analysis
  .
• Test Development and Execution
  :
  Designs and performs mechanical and functional tests on product prototypes.
• Develops and validates test fixtures and setups.
• Executes GR&R studies and test method validations.
• Documents and interprets test results to support product development.
• Analyzes historical test data to inform project testing strategies.
• Applies relevant medical device standards and develops risk-based rationales for testing strategy, ensuring compliance through documentation and justification.
• Problem Solving and Analysis
  :
  Leads failure investigations and root cause analysis.
• Applies analytical tools to resolve complex technical issues.
• Recommends design or process improvements based on test outcomes.
• Uses statistical methods to support data-driven decisions.
• Project and Team Support
  :
  Leads or contributes to small-scale projects and coordinates with cross-functional teams to align testing with design intent and project goals.
• Tracks and communicates progress, risks, and results.
• Supports planning and procurement of test equipment.
• Participates in design reviews, risk assessments, and ongoing product support through testing.
• Mentorship and Collaboration
  :
  Acts as a resource for junior engineers and technicians; shares knowledge and promotes best practices in testing; collaborates with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure test readiness.
