Job OverviewFishbeck is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Engineer/Project Manager to join our Ohio team. This role will be performed in a team environment with staff of varying experience levels across multiple office locations. The position offers potential to transition into team leadership and market sector leadership roles.
Primary Functions- Management of projects from concept through construction.
- Preparation of studies for facility master planning, alternatives analyses, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
- Coordinating with staff from multiple design disciplines.
- Development of design documents, specifications, and obtaining construction permits from regulatory agencies.
- Managing and mentoring staff.
- Making site visits to pursue project leads.
- Participation in the preparation of qualifications and proposals.
- Involvement in trade organizations (AWWA, WEF, etc.).
Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting and carrying; normal office conditions; sit and use a computer; travel to and maneuver around project sites for client meetings and site observations; use technical equipment for communication and documentation; visual acuity necessary.
Desired EducationBachelor of Science - Civil or Environmental Engineering
Desired Skills & Experience- Registered Professional Engineer in the state of application.
- 8+ years primarily water and/or wastewater process experience working with local and regional utilities.
- Strong technical experience in water and/or wastewater facility planning and design.
- Project Management experience.
- Self‑motivation, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to confidently interact with clients and potential clients.
