• Engineering and design of facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, equipment & construction specifications and hazardous area classifications in some of the most complex industrial facilities.
• Evaluating system goals and designing, selecting required equipment or power/controls to achieve goals.
• Performing calculations and evaluations for industrial application equipment and systems.
• Directing activities to ensure construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, codes, and standards.
• Maintaining effective communication with project team members and customers.
• Using engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Performing tier reviews of project deliverables to ensure accuracy and conformance to codes, specifications, design criteria, and good engineering practices.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• PE, Professional Engineer license.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of buildings.
• Solid knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
• Ability to perform power system studies—including short‑circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc‑flash studies.
• Leadership abilities to guide less experienced staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio), Smart Plant, Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.

• Life Science and/or advanced manufacturing facility electrical design experience.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Forward thinking and eagerness to learn best practices.
• Ability to collaborate within multi‑disciplinary teams.
