Position: Princeton Community Middle School - Full Time, 186 Days, 7:15 AM - 3:15 PM

Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience and education using the negotiated contract and will include full benefits.

Qualifications:

• Proper Ohio Department of Education credentialing is required. Physical Education certification.
• HQT in the subject area.
• Knowledge of physical fitness, sports skills, and age-appropriate physical development for middle school students.
• Ability to design engaging activities that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles.
• Skills in classroom and activity management to ensure student safety and participation.
• Ability to adapt activities to meet diverse student abilities and learning needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, staff and families.

Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical fitness, skill development, and healthy lifestyles.
• Teach movement skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal responsibility through physical activity.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and positive behavior.
• Assess student progress in physical skills and participation.
• Maintain equipment, ensure safety procedures, and communicate with students, families, and staff as needed.
