Your role: create and implement brief, focused reading workshops that produce measurable improvements in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for early elementary learners, then support us in expanding that framework to campuses across the country.
This role is not about administrative lesson planning. It's about evidence-based teaching, technology partnership, and constructing a reading program that serves thousands of students.

What You Will Be Doing- Conducting brief, focused reading workshops that develop phonics, comprehension, and fluency abilities
- Creating personalized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
- Reviewing student performance data to improve instruction and identify actionable trends
- Partnering with engineers to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-supported content that helps early elementary students reach grade‑level proficiency
- Conducting 90‑minute lessons or adhering to conventional curricula—students engage with academic content through AI‑adaptive applications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree in reading instruction OR advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to K–2 students
- Capable of assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without relying on pre-packaged curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning tools and able to respond to student behaviors within these platforms
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses:

Working with usThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
