Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost

Essential Functions

The Provost, reporting to the University President, will champion academic priorities, foster innovation, support student success, advance access, and position UC as a leading public urban research institution.

    Balance recruitment and retention of an increasing student population while enhancing the quality of academic programs.
  • Elevating the Future:
    Grow programs of excellence in all disciplines to increase competitiveness and attract top talent.

    Strategically engage and graduate Cincinnati Public Schools students.

Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Substantial, relevant senior leadership experience at an academic or research institution.
  • Service as Dean, Senior Vice Provost, Vice President, Provost, President or analogous position with equivalent responsibilities and authority.
  • Eligible for tenure as a Full Professor with a terminal degree and record of scholarship, teaching, and service.
  • Commitment to access, success, and inclusion.
