Part‑time faculty must be able to teach French language and culture courses.
Adjunct faculty members will be expected to:
1. Use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook‑specific systems;
2. Hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; and
3. Participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.
All classes may be offered day or evening. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Essential Functions- On a part‑time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
- Using best practices, continually evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related and student communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- A Master’s Degree (or higher) in French or a related field of study.
- Previous teaching experience is required.
- Previous teaching experience specifically in a college setting will be considered.
