Assistant Professor or Instructor, Sport Management

The School of Business and Communication at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time (9-month) Assistant Professor of Sport Management position (tenure-track) to begin the  Academic Year.

The School of Business & Communication currently offers undergraduate programs in the areas of Accounting, Communication & New Media Studies, Financial Economics, Management & Leadership, Marketing, and Sport Management. Undergraduate business programs are accredited through ACBSP. The School of Business & Communication also offers a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. These programs combine theory with real-world experience to prepare students for professional success.

Responsibilities

* Undergraduate teaching in sport management and other undergraduate and/or graduate business courses as assigned by the Dean.

* Academic and career advising of business and communication students.

* School of Business and Communication and University service (e.g. committee service, assessment, recruiting, and promotional events).

* Although the position is teaching focused, scholarship is part of the position's duties.

* Other responsibilities as assigned.
