Overview

Tutor (Multiple Sites) – Location(s):
Youth Development and Education;

Child Enrichment/Development.

• Provide intensive and extensive tutorial services to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in Mathematics and Reading.
• Design instruction and activities to prepare students for standardized achievement tests and teach study skills.
• Include activities such as practicing different types of test questions or taking practice tests.
• Deliver tutoring services before school or after school as required.

• Must be 18 years or older and meet academic standards for tutoring.
• Demonstrate competence in analyzing a student’s academic needs and provide effective solutions and support to help the student reach academic potential.
• Must complete all necessary trainings.
• Must possess an understanding and knowledge of public school functions, as well as specific knowledge in age-appropriate curriculum.
• Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and possess good organization skills with the ability to reason and solve problems.

Starting Salary: $13.00
