Overview

Job Coach A Great Opportunity / $18.00~$19.50 / Full Time At the Via Quest Foundation, our Transition Services team partners with local, regional and national businesses and school districts to develop and promote Transition-aged youth in the workplace. We provide work experience opportunities that help Transition-aged youth identify career paths and foster independence. Apply today and make a difference in the lives of the students we serve!

• Support and mentor small groups of high school students to develop skills necessary for entering the workforce, such as professional development and soft skills training.
• Train and supervise students who may have developmental disabilities to acquire the skills needed to perform specific job tasks, work routines and personal life habits.
• Assist students in performing their work responsibilities in a way that fosters independence, develop natural supports and help to ensure retention.
• Provide daily job skills training with a focus on community employment and inclusion.

• Experience with in the field of special education, developmental disabilities or in a youth-centered field is preferred.
• Professional, responsible, mature, and flexible.
• Knowledge of food industry, retail, and hospitality services preferred.
• Professionally maintain daily documentation.
