The Cincinnati Waldorf High School is seeking a full-time Humanities Teacher to start immediately.
AboutThe Cincinnati Waldorf School is a well-established, AWSNA full member school. Our current enrollment is at its highest level and represents a wide diversity across neighborhoods, economics, ethnicity, and lifestyle.
Our strong programming includes Parent & Child classes, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grades 1-12, Eurythmy, Spanish, Mandarin, Handwork, Games, Woodwork, Gardening, Strings, and Choral.
The ideal applicant will have a demonstrated ability to teach in an innovative manner, a love and appreciation for adolescents, a firm footing in today’s world, and an ever-expanding ability and desire to work collegially. Experience with and comfort working within a diverse community and classroom setting will be vital to success. Ideal candidates will also have experience teaching English grammar and literature, theater, and history.
QualificationsCandidates will be considered with strengths in any of these areas. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, although a Master’s or PhD is preferred. A Waldorf High School Teaching Certificate and previous Waldorf High School teaching experience are highly valued. We are willing to work with the right candidate that lacks this experience but is willing to pursue future training in Waldorf pedagogy.
This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits, including tuition remission.
