Position DetailsSchedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (hours may vary based on training needs)
Job Type: CNA Mentor / Trainer Role
Provide hands‑on training and mentorship for new CNAs during their orientation period.
Use the Nurse Aide Skills Checklist to effectively teach, demonstrate, and evaluate essential skills.
Coach team members on accurate POC (Point of Care) documentation and compliance standards.
Lead real‑time skill demonstrations, including ADLs, vital signs, safe transfers, perineal care, feeding, grooming, and infection control.
Offer supportive, constructive feedback and model professionalism, compassion, and teamwork.
Ensure trainees deliver high‑quality, resident‑centered care while following facility standards.
Active and current STNA/CNA certification (in good standing).
Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a long‑term care or skilled nursing setting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong commitment to teaching, coaching, and inspiring others.
