The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is one of the largest regional colleges in Ohio. The college is located in Blue Ash, Ohio, fifteen miles north of the uptown campus, on 135 acres in a park‑like setting. We offer primarily associate degrees in career and transition programs, as well as general education courses and technical baccalaureate degrees to approximately 5,100 students.

Allied Health Adjunct Faculty responsibilities include teaching associate‑level courses in introductory health professions, medical terminology, and/or pathophysiology. Courses may be offered day or evening, in face‑to‑face, hybrid or online formats. Teaching is assigned on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis.
Adjunct faculty members will be expected to:
- use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook‑specific systems;
- hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner;
- participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.
This position is not eligible for visa or green card sponsorship. This position is considered to be under 20 hours per week for employment authorization purposes.
Essential Functions- Continuously evaluate student coursework using best practices.
- Engage in ancillary activities that support the department’s goals.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related and student communications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an allied health or related field.
Required ExperienceUMP>
Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience within the allied health field.
Additional Qualifications ConsideredMinimum of one (1) year of successful classroom teaching experience in the relevant course content area.
