Adjunct Clinical Instructor, Medical​/Surgical Nursing, UC Blue Ash College

Job Overview
:
Part-time faculty must be able to teach Medical/Surgical nursing in college lab, simulation, and clinical courses.

Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; and (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.

Essential Functions

• On a part-time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
• Using best practices, continually evaluate student coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
• Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Required Education
: A BSN or higher from an approved registered nursing education program.

Required Trainings/Certifications
:
Current valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio.

Required Experience
:
Have at least two (2) years of experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.

Additional Qualifications Considered

• At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a college setting.
• A Master’s degree or higher in Nursing.
