The Department of Dermatology in the College of Medicine is seeking a clinical faculty position for the teaching of resident and fellow providers in the clinical setting and in procedural clinical settings. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience.

Essential FunctionsThe candidate will demonstrate an advanced level of medical knowledge, with the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for skin cancer through the use of Mohs microsurgical techniques. Candidate must demonstrate clinical and technical competence, sound clinical judgement, professionalism, and compliant and timely documentation. Candidate will also teach residents, medical students and fellows in both the clinical and didactic settings.
Minimum Qualifications- Candidate should have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
- Candidates must have completed an accredited Dermatology Residency, completed an accredited Fellowship in Micrographic (Mohs) Surgery, and be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology.
- A minimum of one (1) year in an academic setting or equivalent teaching and research experience is also required.
- Demonstrated interest and accomplishment in Dermatology clinical patient care.
- Preference will be given to an individual with demonstrated leadership skills.
- A chief residency or teaching fellowship position is preferred.
- Demonstration of interest and accomplishment in clinical teaching of medical students and residents.
