The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience invites a Geriatric Psychiatrist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. The successful candidate will lead clinical care in geriatric psychiatry, supervise residents and fellows, and pursue research and quality improvement. Leadership opportunities include division director and/or geriatric fellowship program director.
Essential Functions- Direct patient care in outpatient and/or inpatient settings.
- Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Leadership roles within the department and fellowship program.
- Clinical research opportunities across UC Health facilities.
- Career development activities including quality improvement, peer supervision, and mentorship.
- MD/DO or equivalent degree.
- Ohio Medical License.
- Completion of a 4‑year Psychiatry residency.
- Completion of a 1‑year Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship.
- Board‑eligible or board‑certified in General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry.
