A non-profit health system consisting of six hospitals in the Portland, OR area is excited to hire additional neurologists and vascular neurologists/neurohospitalists to its hospitals in the Portland‑Vancouver metro area. Current needs include epilepsy, neuromuscular neurologists or clinical neurophysiologists focusing on EMG/neuromuscular work, as well as general neurologists. All hospitals are 10‑15 minutes from downtown Portland. The flagship hospital has 554 beds and is one of only two Level‑1 trauma centers in Oregon.

- Growing 20‑person neurology department (9 neurohospitalists, plus 8 clinic neurologists and 3 APPs)

- Subspecialty fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine or Clinical Neurophysiology/EMG focus required
- Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with 1:6 weekend call
- Leadership opportunity:
Build and lead the neuromuscular division - Teaching opportunities with residents
- Subspecialty fellowship in epilepsy or clinical neurophysiology/EEG focus required
- Schedule M‑F, 8 am to 5 pm
- Will take call 1:6 weekends
- Opportunity to teach internal medicine residents and medical students
- Opportunities in Portland Oregon and Vancouver Washington
- Predominantly outpatient practice
- EEG/EMG available
- Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with 1:6 weekend call
- Teaching opportunities with residents
- Location will vary; neurohospitalist will rotate weekly through flagship Legacy Emanuel hospital in Portland, Oregon, and all community hospitals
- 100% inpatient volume – stroke heavy position
- Consult service
- Stroke fellowship or neurohospitalist experience required
- Flexible schedule – current schedule M‑F, 7 am to 5 pm with a 3‑week‑on, 1‑week‑off rotation but open to 7‑on/7‑off schedule
- Will take call 1:4 weekends
- Internal telestroke system 24/7, which also provides overnight coverage
- Leadership opportunity at each hospital
