The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience is dedicated to high quality medical student, resident, and fellow education, excellence in patient care, and advancing the science of psychiatry and behavioral neurosciences through clinical trials and ongoing collaborative research. Clinical care and career development are supported in multiple disciplines, including general psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and neuromodulation such as electroconvulsive therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation.

The department is recruiting for an Inpatient Psychiatrist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. The final rank and title will be commensurate with the experience and accomplishments of the selected candidate. Medical Director and leadership opportunities may be available. Those with experience in electroconvulsive therapy are encouraged to apply.

• Direct patient care in an inpatient setting.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Opportunity for administrative and leadership roles, participation in quality improvement, peer supervision, and formal mentorship.

• Ohio Medical License.
• Completion of a 4‑year Psychiatry residency.
• Board eligible/board certified in General Psychiatry.
