Overview

PIVOT studio is a multi-disciplinary team with an office north of the FC Cincinnati Stadium. We are a collective of architects, interior designers, and graphic designers and are looking for experienced architects to bring their well-rounded planning, design, and technical skills to our studio.

At PIVOT studio, disciplines are not segregated but intermingled, and are often working on projects together. Our projects are primarily in the hospitality industry, but we also have projects in restaurant and entertainment venues, retail, brand focused workplace (graphics), as well as some fun local “one-off” designs.

Responsibilities are based on your experience and are traditional to a commercial architect/designer. We play to your strengths but do not separate design and documentation; everyone participates throughout all project phases.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at an accredited University
• 7-10 years of professional experience working in the field of Architecture/Design

• Work in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment
• Understanding of design expectations and the level of quality service to clients
• Clear, effective communication (both verbal and written)
• Space planning and programming
• Knowledge of Construction Types and Construction Issue
• Knowledge of building regulations, life safety codes and ADA requirements
• Knowledge of the construction process as it relates to the drawings being produced
• Seeks to be or already is a Licensed Architect
• CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCATED IN CINCINNATI OR WILLING TO RELOCATE
