AGAR is seeking an Experiential Event Production Director with 10+ years experience in execution of all key aspects of experiential event production, brand activation, client services and event marketing. The Production Director will produce unique brand experiences from end-to-end that generate consumer loyalty and client retention. Experiences can range from fabricated tradeshow or festival build-outs, product samplings, mobile tours, interactive/digital activations, corporate meetings, art installations and many other large or small-scale events.
This role requires a deep understanding of fabrication processes and hands-on experience collaborating with fabrication vendors to ensure all build-outs meet creative intent, technical requirements, budgets, and client expectations. The candidate will lead production team members and drive executional excellence through effective leadership.

The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall experience, taking full ownership of identifying all logistical, creative, and technical elements required for execution. They must be highly resourceful and serve as a clear, consistent communicator, keeping both internal teams and clients informed of project status and ensuring alignment every step of the way.
JOBRESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner closely with creative, strategy, operations and account teams to develop compelling, feasible concepts and contributing production expertise to pitches, scopes of work, and proposals,
- Own the execution of brand experiences from end-to-end by developing executional plans, budgets, sourcing lists, graphic needs and production schedules to fulfill project deliverables.
- Oversee onsite event execution, managing load-in/load-out, team coordination, and real-time problem solving to ensure a seamless guest and client experience.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the production team, providing mentorship and professional development.
- Source, manage and negotiate with third-party vendors including fabricators, AV teams, venues, printers, and other event partners. Ensure they meet criteria and quality standards as outlined in shop drawings or renderings.
- Support client service teams as production point of contact for clients, guiding relationships with key stakeholders, managing expectations, and driving long-term trust and partnership.
- Elevate production standards and process innovation, continuously refining workflows and tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to post-event debriefs and recap processes, capturing insights, vendor performance, and budget reconciliation to inform future programs and continuous improvement.
- Own risk management protocols, proactively assessing potential issues and implementing mitigation plans across all phases of production.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new technologies, formats, and vendors to keep experiences innovative and culturally relevant.
- Represent AGAR’s vision, mission, guiding principles, and core values. Embody AGAR’s quick and nimble way of executing work and knowing when there is a sense of urgency to meet client and project needs.
- Participate in and contribute to company workshops, thought leadership opportunities and company-owned events.
- BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Experiential Marketing and Production.
