Commercial Sales Estimator

As a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator at Bone Dry, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. You will combine your analytical skills with your sales expertise to estimate project costs, prepare compelling proposals, and close deals with our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be to represent Bone Dry with the utmost professionalism and care while driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and delivering tailored solutions.

• Sell and estimate commercial roofing jobs, perform take-offs, write proposals, and communicate with property owners or managers
• Write picking lists, order materials, arrange for permits
• Make sure customers are aware of our referral programs
• Generate and maintain relationships with property managers, general contractors, and other local avenues of business

• Experience with installation types: EPDM, TPO, and PVC membrane roofing
• Familiar with modified bitumen, shingle roofing, and metal standing seam roofing (preferred)
• Ability to read drawings and spec books, or willingness to learn quickly to perform take-offs, write estimates and proposals
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Professional communication with business owners and property managers

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Pass a background check
• Ability to climb ladders safely, access various roof types (flat, low-slope, steep/inclined); occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• 1-2 years customer service experience
• Construction/roofing industry experience preferred
• 2+ years experience in commercial roofing (repairs, production, or sales)
• Military service is a plus

• Compensation range of $75k - $110k, commensurate with experience
