Associate Director – Construction Industry

Base pay range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year.

This position is responsible for providing reasonably profitable cost estimates for new/existing products, designs, and repairs, and presenting the quotes to customers in accordance with company guidelines and parameters.

• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering and evaluating proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentation.
• Estimate all production costs by analyzing labor, material and time requirements, taking into account the cost of raw materials, labor, equipment, tools, and transportation as the basic factor for cost estimates.
• Review estimate elements for adequacy, uniformity, and completeness, ensuring cost-based accuracy, and prepare relevant documentation in a timely manner in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
• Effectively communicate company‑related requirements and specifications regarding products and services with customers and vendors.
• Monitor any change orders and communicate the price effect of those change orders with customers. Compute cost factors and prepare itemized cost worksheets and other required documentation and actions.
• Ensure installation is completed as required based on the customer’s schedule.
• Audit comprehensive job‑costing results and use them to continuously improve the estimation process.
• Maintain all quotation and proposal records as required by company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
