The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, fun-loving, and calm-under-pressure team member to join our YMCA Early Learning Center in a split-shift, before- and after-school role!
Responsibilities- Support lead teachers with daily routines, activities, supervision, and transitions.
- Stay calm and composed during high-energy moments.
- Bring flexibility, creativity, and a sense of fun to each day.
- Encourage learning, curiosity, and confidence in school-age children.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and teammates.
- Help create a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels included and valued.
- Some experience working with school-age children.
- Dependable and energetic with a genuine love for working with kids.
- Ability to support and encourage children’s achievement and confidence.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Calm and patient demeanor during busy or challenging moments.
- Creative and flexible approach to daily activities and routines.
